Poverty is the World Major Problem but We Can Do Something....

POVERTY

 

            Poverty is the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money. It is pronounced deprivation in well-being, and comprises many dimensions. It includes low incomes and the inability to acquire the basic goods and services necessary for survival with dignity. It also encompasses of low levels of  health  and education, poor access to clean water and sanitation,inadequate physical security, lack of voice and insufficient capacity and opportunity to better one's life.

Discussion/Explanation:

      When we say "poverty" their are many things come up to our mind, such as lack of money because of life status and unemployed. Money is the most  important in terms of this situation. It also have many causes of poverty that shows the reality that many children doesn't go to school because their parents doesn't have enough wealth to educate their siblings, and some are chose to work at their early age. Others prefer to have money to buy what they want rather than give importance on how they can be educated.

       Poverty cause by improper distribution of resources, uneducated, unemployed, unstoppable population growth, and also because some of  the poor doesn't have dispossession in life. They just stick to it life status instead, to do something on how they can move on and overcome this situation. Poor people also creates conditions that keep them poor.

          Mostly poverty is  of the reason of some individuals that force them to think or do something bad  such  crime to their neighbor that would violate some laws. They can do crimes in such instances, when they experience hunger, when they want to get something that they don't have before and sometimes it because of their emotion that they don't  want to see their family suffering in this reality.

          To abolish poverty cause we might be able to lessen this by generating more employment, raising level of education, making the elite aware to it and making them knowledgeable in presenting some programs and also by giving them a chance to listen on their common problem that they have been mostly experience.   

          

1st Poverty Cause

OVERPOPULATION

1. Overpopulation - the situation of having large members of people with too few resources and too  little space

Discussion/Explanation:

Overpopulation is the first cause of poverty because it is the situation that we need to minimize the space or resources that we have. As we can see most of the people who will yearly giving birth and has many children are those people who are belong to the poorest. While those people who are belong to the richest family have only just one, two or three child. It is shows that if this situation would continue it could have a possibility that all of the people will experience poverty. Afterwards when we are going to look up from the reality, we would see that we don't have enough resources and space that could be use.

              

However, with this situation we need to think twice in doing decisions and think some solution on how could we prevent it? We need to have proper family planning and proper uses of our resources. Because it is the time that we need to priorities many thing and we also need to involve/replace ourselves at ever situation to be more aware. By this we could have a chance to overcome this kind of situation and we can minimize the poverty cause. 

            

2nd Poverty Cause

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION OF RESOURCES

2. Global Distribution of Resources - this refers to the legacy of colonialism accounts for much of the unequal distribution of resources.

Discussion/Explanation:

This shows on how the distribution of resources that we have. In it, many of the poor will do not have enough space for their own relocation area. By then, there are many people whom we called "squatters". These are the people who don’t have their own land to use to build their own house. They rather stay on the street and build a house under the bridges, along the river and on the mountain side. It's because some of the people who are rich do have lot of land that would more than as they need. They rather to choose to remain their land vacant than to get it or share it to the poor. Then, they just only think for their own goodness. 

It is the unequal distribution of the land that mostly the biggest problem of the countries. By this, it could also affect not only the way people living but also in that we could already use or get the habitat of those animals or endangered species. We could our country by doing what is right and sharing what is need that you have enough to share from others.

               

3rd Poverty Cause

HIGH STANDARDS OF LIVING AND COSTS OF LIVING

3. High Standards of Living and Costs of Living - this are the people who may have more wealth and resources or have their high standards of living is also generally higher.

Discussion/Explanation:

            This is the 3^rd cause of poverty in which many people will really experience at now. Some people want to live in a simple way of living, but in this generation simple living and having a little income will not enough to satisfy their own needs. Because at this time we won’t really satisfy on what we have and we need more and more until we reach on what we want. Then, it continuing the increasing of the cost of our basic needs, how could we live better at this moment? We don’t know on how to stop this kind of situation and besides we need to adjust from this situation. It may be we need to think hard on how to overcome this.

               

High standards of living and cost of living would make the people pressure. It is in the continuation of high cost of common goods that usually using by many people and, therefore, they pursue to do something to have some solution in this problem and may be they would attempt to commit crime. These also make the people to increase their satisfaction, but how does those poor people who don’t have regular income to survive this situation.  By that we need to be careful and think more twice in every decision we made and being wiser to be must better.

            

4th Poverty Cause

INADEQUATE EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT

4. Inadequate Education and Employment - illiteracy and lack of education are common in poor countries in which the government cannot afford to provide for good public schools, especially in rural areas.

Discussion/Explanation:

Generally, this is the cause of poverty that could really affect the way of living of the people. Education is one of the most important things to avoid poverty. Because when people will be educated they don't have a possibility to experience poverty. They could find a job that could fit to what they have been learned and study in the school. Then, many employers will accept them as their employees. Within that, they might be brought on what they want and have on what they need. They a can also built their own houses and have a delicate and well living.

        Inadequate education is equal to inadequate employment. People who lack of knowledge and skills they might be unemployed and they might not be getting the right job to fulfill their needs. With this we will increase the number of people who will experience poverty. Then, at this point poverty continue to increase until all of people will really experience this at everyday living. 

       

5th Poverty Cause

ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION

5. Environmental Degradation - the deterioration of the natural environment, including the atmosphere, bodies of water soil and forest - is an important cause of poverty. 

Discussion/Explanation:

The environment is one of the main source of people were getting their basic needs such as foods, etc. The land, water, and forest are some important part of our natural resources in which  people uses in their living. But how do people care and  use the environment properly and what are the things  they need to do in maintaining the environment safety and free from  using?

               

Environment Degradation is the views in which the environment were slowly damaged/destroy upon improper uses of the people. It is also refers on continuation of damages created by people which cause the lessen of the quality of the environment. By this people doesn't have enough resources to use and they may become poorer. It is the result of too much abusing the environment and not thinking what could be the possible effect of it from us.

ECONOMIC AND DEMOGRAPHIC TRENDS

6. Economic and Demographic Trends - poverty can be linked to economic trends in many developed countries.

Discussion/Explanation:

In terms of economics what ever changes upon it all people will be affected. Like when upon the price high of common goods and commodities and even the flow of economy will be change all of us will be affected even those richest people. During the periods of economic recession tend to particularly affect young and less-educated people, who may have difficulty finding jobs that pay enough to support themselves. For instance, the number of relatively high-paying manufacturing jobs has declined, while the demand for workers in service- and technology-related industries has increased.Then, the people who have learned the skills required for jobs that involve manual labor, such as those in manufacturing, either on the job or through easily accessible school vocational programs. As these jobs are replaced by service- and technology-related jobs-jobs that usually require skills taught at the college level-people who cannot afford a college education find it increasingly difficult to obtain well-paying work.

          During most of this period, those in the middle and the bottom of the income distribution have become progressively worse off as the cost of living has risen. Us also cite demographic shifts as contributing to increases in overall poverty. In particular, demographic shifts have led to increases in poverty among children. for instance, typical family structures have changed significantly, leading to an increase in single-parent families, which tend to be poorer. Single-parent families with children have a much more difficult time escaping poverty than do two-parent families, in which adults can divide and share childcare and work duties.

INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY AND WELFARE DEPENDENCY

7. Individual Responsibility and Welfare Dependency - in this some people believes that poverty is a symptom of societal structure and that some population of many society inevitable will be poor.

Discussion/Explanation:

          Individual responsibility is depending on how the people do their own/self responsibilities, and welfare dependency is also depending on how they make the flow on the way they have live. It is upon the individual believes on how they overcome poverty that everybody will experience and on how they settle their life.

               

At one point individual have different perceptions and decisions. Many were have different believes about what the main cause of being poor. Some might be know that being poor is just a choice. Because it is depend on how people managed their own life. It is on how the way and on what we are going to do in preventing poverty, on what techniques we shall do upon this situation.

However, individual responsibility and welfare dependency is just refers to the people on how they believe and see the poverty is. It is on how they use/provide their own territory and been socialize.
